About Us

Hello! I'm Kim, owner and designer of Nona & Mae Co. 

I started this company in 2020 as a way to honor my sister, Karen, who passed away in 2018 after a short battle with cancer.  Karen was an amazing woman who loved to craft and create personalized gifts for her family and friends.  She was an inspiration to me, someone I admired, and someone whom I miss every day.  I wanted to carry on Karen's memory and fell in love with creating custom products for family and friends.

In the early days of Nona & Mae, I struggled to find my niche.  It wasn't until my daughter got engaged and we started planning her wedding, that I knew without a doubt what I wanted to do with Nona & Mae.  I didn't see too many choices in our area for sign selections other than wood and chalkboards.  I wanted to do something that was more personalized, fun, yet elegant that would make a statement while being functional. I offer a variety of styles of signage: wooden, acrylic and mirrors that can be customized and blend seamlessly to any event theme.
